Since I'm pretty sure I'm working with my little sister as a character now, I figured I'd adjust accordingly. I think the design is simple enough to make After Effects animating feasible, too.
Just one angle:
Playing with the idea of technicolor monochromatic children as crowd though. Just to keep down on the details (easier to work with fewer colors) and up on the cheerfulness (hooray, colors).
I think you are on to something, Maggie. The little girl aspect is different from the original, and could be very powerful. Looking forward to evolution.....
Yes, but since you have only one character, with little motion, you will have to animate your video in other ways. What? Other characters in motion introduced? When, when, what? While she stays herself, the environment builds up in interest around her? How? Other ideas? Camera motion that tells your story too? Just wondering. These are things to consider. Maybe you already have, or will.... Can be wonderful :-)
